The living area opens onto the balcony—you can almost smell the Baltic Sea. Each of the two bedrooms features a comfortable double bed. For wellness enthusiasts, the bathroom is perfectly suited: it features a private sauna in addition to a shower.
The “Leuchtturm” house is located in an ideal vacation spot, just under 100 meters from the beach! And in general, the house is a great starting point for everything you’d want to do on vacation:
Restaurants, a playground, a skate park, and kiosks are all in the immediate vicinity. A bakery, bike rentals, and—for the more athletic guests—a gym are also within a 600-meter radius.
You can conveniently park your car in the house’s parking lot—and feel free to leave it there. The best way to get around here is on foot or by bike. Public buses run several times a day to Heiligenhafen and Fehmarn, giving you plenty of flexibility. In general, Großenbrode is a great starting point for all kinds of bike tours: you can reach Heiligenhafen in just over an hour—a bit faster on an e-bike—or enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and bike straight to Fehmarn.

The island of Fehmarn is only about 4 km from Großenbrode, and the town of Heiligenhafen on the Warder Peninsula (about 10 km away) also invites you to visit. Here, in addition to the traditional fishing port, you’ll find one of Germany’s largest and most modern marinas, a pier over 500 meters long, and a kilometer-long swimming beach.
