LUNO Heritage House City Center

Muy bien ubicado para un fin de semana en Amsterdam, cercano a la estación de tren y a las principales atracciones de la ciudad. Dentro de los altos precios que hay en esta ciudad, no está mal la relación calidad precio. Muy buena atención por parte de los caseros, ya que tuvimos un pequeño problema con una ventana y lo solucionaron rápidamente.

The centralized location near the train station was key to my stay here in Amsterdam. The building was easy to find and access, and my room felt like a quiet escape from the business of the city. The bathroom in the room was so convenient, the provided amenities like coffee and tea, a tv, and the shared kitchen/bathroom area was very useful! The building was also incredibly charming, with a large staircase connecting the different floors, huge windows, and an interior style that both respected the age and history of the building while also feeling up to date and appropriate for its use as a hotel. I will be booking here again next time I visit Amsterdam!

The only aspect of the stay I didn’t like was the WiFi. While it was listed as strong in the posting, it indeed was not strong at all, and my phone couldn’t even stay connected. I used a lot of data while in the hotel, which didn’t ruin my stay at all, but did put a dent in the relaxation. Now that I’m writing, I remember there were also multiple times people would try to enter my room, thinking it was theirs. There was about three different times people repeatedly tried to enter my room (that I know of). Perhaps they were reading the check in instructions wrong, but it did put a damper on my sense of safety/ seclusion. However, no one ever did enter my room, and my privacy was respected for my entire stay. One final thing- it was difficult to figure out what room I was booking when going through the booking portal. Others mentioned this too, the information that you receive is a bit vague when starting booking, and I didn’t receive much other information until the day of check in. I lucked out and got a private room with a shower and toilet, but that remained a surprise until walked into my room.

The room and location was great. You step out of the building and right into the heart of Amsterdam busy streets. Upon arrival it was hard to find the location but when we contacted the host, she was very helpful.

First of all its alot of stairs. The facilties (bathroom and kitchen) were shared among guests and that was not disclosed. These facilties are on the last floor, luckily our room was just 1 floor down. I had discomfort after i got up in the night to urinate and had to wait long. I think the host should share this info with the public, so the guests can know what to expect.

The room was wonderful and very cute.

Got a little hot in the summer sun, but the two provided fans helped massively, thank you!
