Sotel Amsterdam Central Station

Location was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was also very comfortable.

The towel rack, shower head and rack to hang clothes was too high for a 5 foot woman to reach!!! No way someone larger could comfortably fit on the toilet seat!

We were lucky to be in Room 401 which had a great view out to centraal and the canal boats. A fantastic location for walking everywhere!

The bathroom was a wet room, so just meant once we showered at night we put towels on floor to soak water up.

Toilet a little small

Staff were very helpful and friendly and the location is excellent. The room itself is as advertised.

We were staying on level 4, however still get some street noise come into the room (trams, voices and glass breaking). The bathrooms is very small and shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom and water goes everywhere. The mirror is sloped which gives you a distorted view. There were visable marks on the linen including a red mark on the hand towel. The lift was slow however the stairs were not an alternative as they felt unsafe to walk down. The curtains are not blackout, so if you are sensitive to light when you sleep this should be noted.
