Agoda only publishes my good reviews... but this falls in that category. It wasn't a big room, but it was great having our own bathroom. It was a great location and we wandered everywhere between the Van Gogh museum and the Centeaal train station.
Good staff, good value. Thanks.

We had a decent stay at the hotel with a welcoming team. We had a room with a condemned window and the lighting in the room could have been brighter. The bed mattress firmness was perfect to sleep. The washbasin took a lot of time to let the water down. Other than that, facilities were available. Thank you

Blink and you’ll walk past the front door but what a location. It’s Amsterdam so may the air be sweet and the stairs be steeper this little gem gives you everything you need. Little squeeze on elbow room but it’s a bed for the night in a safe clean brilliant location. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. If i was to ever come back I’d be looking up this place again.

I stayed at Ciao Papa Hotel Amsterdam Central Station from 17 to 20 September 2026. On our final night I found three live bed bugs in our room. I reported this to the staff at reception at 5:20 a.m. on 20 September and was brushed off, with no apology or offer of help.
I then followed up in writing on 20 and 21 September with photos and videos of the bed bugs and a formal request for reimbursement. The hotel did not reply to any of my messages. I had to pay for laundry and treatment of our belongings myself.
Bed bugs can happen anywhere, but how a hotel responds matters. Here, the response was silence. I would not recommend this property
