Siri Hostel

I stayed for 2 nights. The bed was comfortable and the Privacy curtain was good. If you are looking for an overnight stay before an early flight it is ok for the cost.

The bed I was assigned was right in the path of other guests going in and out of the hostel room and everytime someone went to the kitchen in the night the lights came on disturbing sleep. It is really poorly layed out. I have stayed in many hostles around Europe and the Balkans and this is the first one where the beds are in the same room as the kitchen area! Not to mention the danger of a fire risk in the kitchen area and anyone sleeping in the beds. The whole building is a safety hazard as there are no fire escapes for such a big building and no fire extinguishers. Thats very poor layout of a hostel. I have an Albanian friend in Tirana who runs a guesthouse and she agreed that it is very poor. I had to change beds during the night to have some privacy and sleep. The power sockets along the walls of the bunk beds do not work so had to charge things at the sockets away from beds. States in the description Shared lounge/TV area (Area is a loose description, no TV in that area) The photos on Booking.com are very deceiving.
