In the summer, Timber Cove Marina (9 minutes) offers Jet Ski, boat, and sail boat rentals. You can also test your bravery and try your hand parasailing or go on a high-speed boat adventure. Amazing views await on any one of South Lake Tahoe's hiking trails, many starting just outside your back door. Washoe Meadows State Park (15 minutes) is a great place for a nature adventure.
