This house was absolutely beautiful, it’s the perfection vacation home. There were about 15 of us at one point & the house still felt open & comfortable, it was never to packed. We used this house for my wedding weekend & both bridal parties got ready while still being separated. Highly recommend staying in this home. My only concerns was I tried use the baby pack n play & it was absolutely filthy. There was mouse poop on it & dog food under the mattress but doubt the owner was informed about it as the rest of the house was perfect.

This home was fantastic. We stayed there with friends (some of us skiing, some of us just exploring Tahoe), and we'll gladly stay there again. The home was in perfect shape. Thank you Matt for having us!

Family and friends came up to snowboard at Heavenly and this place was so close. Super clean and was nice and warm during out stay. Matt communicated very well and was a great host.

Matt was an amazing host and was available at all times. His property was a beautiful home that was able to sleep everyone in my party comfortably! Kitchen and rooms are very spacious and the location to stateline is about 10 minutes away. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in South Lake Tahoe!

This is a very well appointed home with lots of space for families to gather and enjoy each others company while still allowing everyone to step away for some quiet when needed. We had 10 adults and 6 children and there was lots of space for everyone. The ground floor bedroom and bath were perfect for my senior parents who were often joined by the grandkids. We were met with a heavy snowstorm which did cause some issues on the road and a power outage, but that's mother nature for you. We made the best of it playing games by phone light and staying toasty warm by the gas oven in the living room until power was restored. Matt was great to work with and was available for all our questions when we were experiencing our power outage. Appreciate his prompt responses and guidance throughout our stay. This was definitely a vacation to remember for our family and this home helped bring us all together.

The price and location of the property was amazing and was very clean. Hot tub instructions where confusing. There was practically an empty propane propane tank in the gas grills outside. The trash fills up quick when you have 12+ people guests staying. But overall great place

Owner Matt was great to work with and property fits the description. very clean overall and comfortable beds. only downside was lack of access to washer/dryer and hot tub (and i understand why), but overall an excellent home and place to stay.

We had a great time and the house worked out great for our large group. Mathew was easy to get Intouch with and answered all our questions. The house was clean and roomy and in a great location. We will definitely go back there again.

What our group thought was an amazing stay quickly turned sour. This host will absolutely hit you with extra fees. We were charged an additional fee for a “greasy pan in the oven” after paying a very expensive cleaning fee. All other dishes were cleaned as instructed but a small mistake equals a fee. Host is also claiming damage ona candle holder but will not provide a photo simply states it’s missing so it must be broken. How very convenient. Don’t bother paying for property protection either cause host chooses the alternate method of just charging it to your deposit. This home was definitely not worth the additional fees after paying a lot of memory to stay here. Our large group all took great care of this home.

My family and I loved our time here. It has a nice big backyard where the kids got to play in the snow; we didn't even need to leave the house. It was spacious, modern, and clean. We would love to return for our next family trip!

The property is well designed for a larger group that wants to spend most of its time doing outdoor activities. The master suite is spacious and there are four bedrooms upstairs, two with double-single bunk combinations and one with two double-single combinations. The other bedroom upstairs has a king bed. Plenty of sleeping options for our party of five parents and eight teens. The common area isn't super spacious and is somewhat dark, but the boys mostly hung out in their bedroom so it never felt cramped. The house was clean and well-stocked, we cooked a big common meal and didn't lack for kitchen equipment. A few spices would have been welcome but we didn't expect them so we brought our own. We had a bit of trouble getting into the house -- the lockbox combo didn't seem to work, perhaps due to icing, but the owner was responsive and got us in without having to wait outside too long. The security deposit is shockingly large which always raises some red flags, but it was all returned to us after a bit of discussion. Would rent again.

This is my first and probably last experience with VRBO. The owner of this property is dishonest and the property is disgusting. Further, the owner submitted a damage claim against the property for floor replacement there was no damage to the floor. Other notes 1. Property up-keep and ant infestation: The ant infestation problem is a major issue at your property. From closets, to kitchen, to cabinets, to refrigerator and bathrooms/bedrooms, there wasn’t a safe spot where adults, toddlers and kids in the group could be safe from bugs. Each of us were constantly looking down and up and side-to-side to ensure we were not about to step on ants. While I appreciate your prompt response and suggestion of purchasing ant traps, it isn’t an issue that a guest should have to deal with on their vacation. Further placement of ant traps where food is handled is also not advisable (see pics of kitchen with bugs). This led to a continual discomfort for everyone during the stay. So much time was spent protecting food, surfaces, and possessions from the high potential for ant infestation which took away from time that should have been spent on leisure activities. See attached pics. 2. Unavailability of basic necessities: the property was missing adequate supplies to ensure a restful stay for 16 guests for 5 days. In particular, 1.25 paper towel rolls were provided in the kitchen and only 2-3 toilet paper rolls were provided in each bathroom. Further, no body soap, shampoo or conditioner were provided. The lack of adequate basic necessities which are provided in most short term rental properties led to major inconvenience/stress and additional unforeseen costs during our stay. Further, hot water ran out with only 2-3 people taking a shower and was clearly inadequate for a 16 person occupancy. In addition, no cling wrap or aluminum foil was provided so fresh food couldn’t stay out of the fridge and be kept safe from the bugs. 3. Air conditioning: during our entire stay, the average temperature inside the house was at 75-78 degree Fahrenheit because the air conditioning didn’t work. After a long hot day in the sun, we had unrestful nights for all 16 guests. Many woke up drowned in sweat with no proper avenues to get clean due to lack of provided toiletries, towels, as well as ants even found in the shower! Given that the property advertises AC we felt that is was yet again another major challenge during our stay. 4. Laundry facilities: no coin laundry on site.

Our family spent one full week at this property and overall we had a great experience. The layout of the home is outstanding with 5 bedrooms. For us, that allowed each family to have their own space for the week. It would have been nice to have had access to a washer and dryer while we were there with our large family for the week but we knew going into it that it wasn't available to us. It also would have been nice to have access to the garage to put coolers and bikes in at night but we also knew ahead of time that the garage wasn't available to us. Three different times during the week we had a sow bear and her two cubs on the property and one night the sow bear tried to come through a window screen into the house while one of our sons was asleep on the couch next to the window. The upstairs was a little hot at night so our son had opened the window and was sleeping on the couch. Thankfully he woke up just in time and scared the bear away. The bears seem to be very smart as she opened a car door, the tailgate on a truck, and the latch on the gate going into the back yard. We were amazed that she pulled out a cloth cooler and a backpack out of the pickup bed underneath a tonneau cover when she opened up the tailgate and unzipped them to get to the goodies inside. Neither the backpack nor the cooler were damaged. It was unbelievable. All in all we had a great family vacation that was extremely memorable for our family!

We had a great stay at the house! The kitchen had a wide variety of appliances and utensils. The house was clean and had plenty of blankets and towels. Matt was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions that we had.

I stayed here with a couple friends and family, the house is very clean and neat! We had access to some kitchen necessities which we had forgot to bring also the bathroom where very nice! overall we loved our stay here! Would definitely consider booking the home again!

We stayed there for 3 nights. Friday to Monday during June. Our extended family include 15 people both adults and kids. The house is in excellent condition, it has all the appliances we need. We really enjoyed our time there. We feel very comfortable as if we're at our own home. Overall, we're very happy and would recommend the place. There are a few things that we just want to point out since it's easy to overlook: 1. There's no access to washer and dryer 2. There's no access to the garage 3. In some of the room, the blind is very transparent, lights would go through in the morning. Some might have concerns but we have no issues with it. Tamara.

Our trip and the house was very nice, clean and had lots of space for a big family, however we were unable to park our cars in the garage or do laundry because they were both locked and off limits to guests. When we arrived one of the showers was broken and the water pressure sprayed water out of control. The owners are now charging us for the broken shower head that was broken when we arrived. We sent the owners a video of their already broken shower right when we discovered that it was broken and they still have not responded after a month. So renters beware...

Had everything we needed, great house and location!
