Gondola Lodge with Free Beach Voucher

Luv this hotel! Comfy place with everything you need for a great trip to the lake

It’s in a great location! You’re within walking distance of the heavenly shops and the beach, although the beach is a little longer walk. There were six of us so they gave us three connecting rooms. We had a little kitchen in one of the rooms and there were were mini fridges, microwaves and fireplaces in each room. The pool and spa were clean. There are outdoor eating areas for each section of the Lodge as well as a picnic area with a barbecue downstairs. The host was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

This isn’t about the property, but about the private beach that comes with the property. It’s regularly $30 a person but you get a voucher that reduces the price down to $5 person. Even $5 a person is not worth it since it’s nothing but a beach with a few expensive rentals such as kayaks. There are better, free beaches Camp Richardson is not too far and it’s only $12 a car to park there. (It’s free if you park at the Tallac historic park and just walk over.)

The beds were horribly uncomfortable. Not what we expected for the price. No creamer or sugar for the coffee. The living room control panel couldn't control the heat or turn on the fireplace. The bathtub was draining when plugged. The caulking around the tub needs to be replaced .
