The Haven, North Sunderland, near Seahouses, sleeps four in two bedrooms.
The Space:
The Haven consists of a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and a living/dining room with seating for four, a TV and wood burner & multi-fuel stove - please bring your own fuel. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a twin (zip/link can be king-size on request), serviced by a ground-floor bathroom. Outside there is a front non-enclosed patio with bench, rear enclosed patio with furniture, and roadside parking. Within 0.6 miles or less you will find a shop and a pub, and within 1.3 miles, a beach, and please note this is a smoke-free property. One well-behaved pet welcome. WiFi, enough logs for a first fire, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Explore the coast of Northumberland with a stay at The Haven. Note: Check-in 4pm, check-out 10am. . The Neighborhood:
A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, not to be missed. The Northumberland Coast Path offers stunning walking and hiking opportunities where you can soak in the scenic coastal trails with breath-taking views, whilst the nearby Seahouses Golf Club offers a wonderful spot to practice your swing or play a round or two amidst the coastal backdrop. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick, well-known for its appearances in the much-loved Harry Potter films, to mention just a few. With fishing, birdwatching, and boating opportunities on offer, in addition to the Grace Darling Museum, and market towns of Berwick-upon-Tweed and Morpeth within reach, you'll have plenty to fill your stay!
