Great location. Property needs some maintenance, care and a clean.

Property is in a great location, beautiful views to the sea.

The bath didn’t have a working plug. The floors were not clean. No bathroom bin. Most of the blind fasteners were broken which is a safety concern when with young children. The pillows were hard and over stuffed with cheap material. Unable to use them. No adult or child could use the pillows. One wardrobe was filled with a broken chair and other rubbish.

Front windows very grubby, which was frustrating as the view was spectacular. Bath plug not working, so couldn't have a bath. Automatic bathroom light was a challenge, as it went out whilst i was in the shower, leaving me in complete darkness! I had to call my husband to open the bathroom door, so it came back on again! Minor detail but cupboards were being used to store old fixtures and fittings, broken chairs etc.,

Mixed experience

Bed was really comfortable, nice flat, great views and situated in superb location.

Not so good, no blind in bathroom, which was very uncomfortable when the light automatically comes on day or night! Not great. Whilst having a shower light automatically turns off, again, it's not great. No wifi details, so had to make contact which took a while to get resolved. Not a smart tv, so unable to log into netflix or prime account, in this day and age, I would have thought it would be an option. Otherwise, it's OK.

Lovely flat in a great location. Could do a few things better

Location was fantastic, interior design was really well done

Trying to find even with google map was very difficult. Not well sign posted. Smelled like old person when we came in. We had to buy a candle and open windows. Vinyl flooring not the best in places.

Chipped crockery. Kitchen felt like unwanted equipment from soneones house rather than carefully selected for the apartment. Iron didn’t work properly. Parking slightly awkward. Big thing I didn’t like was the photo of a telescope in the window which looked like a real piece of equipment. It wasn’t and didn’t work and actually blocked the view out of the window. So it was really disappointing and I felt misled by the photo.

Great place, a few small tweaks would make it even better.

The location and views were amazing. The property was clean on arrival.

It would be great to have a washing machine and dishwasher. Especially in a 3 bed that sleeps 6. The coffee machine was also leaking. Missing some basics such as scissors and peeler. But 4 bottle openers. I’m all for getting the essentials 🤣 but as it’s a family place cooking and washing utilities would be good.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the highlight was the wonderful views from the lounge windows.

Location and views were excellent. Accomodation was comfortable and met our needs.

Main issue was that the WIFI never worked for the duration of our visit .This meant that we had no TV at any point and unable to access work emails.We reported the faulty wifi many times and eventually a maintenance man visited the property.He advised there was nothing he could as the house was not connected to any wifi network. The maintenance man advised that he had previously visited the property to check on the same problem and was similarly unable to help as there was no wifi connection.He suspected but could not confirm that the wfi had been cut off by the provider. We can live without tv and wifi for a weekend but the property advertised it had tv and wifi but this was not the case at any point. Another small point the iron was not working.

Amazing views and location

Amazing sea views and a great location. Sea walks across the road and an easy walk into Seahouses. We recommend eating at The Old Buoy Inn, which is very close.

Enjoyed the location and its view, spoilt by the things thatneed attention. Annoyed by the lack of internet etc

Position and view.

No internet, no tv. No instructions for them. No bathroom mirror. Only one toilet roll. Timer light in the bathroom was a problem. Dangerous to open the bathroom window. Main bedroom blind was broken. Main bedroom ceiling light did not work. There were no details or instructions on how to work various items eg the internet, Tv etc. there were no pamphlets of local sights. There was no booklet providing details of local amenities eg doctors surgery, dentist, bus routes and timetable. The staircase was dangerous and should be highlighted to advise for elderly or disabled users. Too many e-mails with repeated ‘info’ and badly laid out. And we had tiring to get the entry code….it wasn’t provided when it said it would be.

Best place I've stayed in Seahouses

Wonderful view! Beach literally only 1 minute from the door, Seahouses centre only a few minutes' walk away but no noise from traffic or people. Beds comfortable, slept well. Did I mention the view?

Several of the blinds and chairs were broken, but that didn't cause a problem. Given the fantastic view, it would have been better if the windows had been more recently washed. On the whole everything was fine for a couple nights' stay.

The location was fantastic and the apartment was clean

There was no wifi, despite the host advising that there was. No matter what we did we were unable to connect to a wifi in the property. I am convinced that there was actually no broadband or the broadband was disconnected. Their was no blind in one of the smaller rooms and this had been called out on previous reviews, dating back to early 2024 and no mirror in the bathroom also referred to in previous reviews dating back to 2024

Excellent location, super views, great shower, good kitchen, nice sitting/dining room. Easy access to Bamburgh, Seahouses, Farne Islands and Lindisfarne for day trips.

Couldn’t find a WiFi code. Apparently it should have been in the digital welcome park, but that section was blank. Phoned and messaged host for help but they just kept messaging to say it was in the welcome park! Very frustrating. Didn’t get resolved. Also no bathroom mirror so difficult shaving, and no blind or curtain in the small bedroom.

The location was great,quality of accommodation was good, fix a few basics and it would be excellent

We arrived at the venue at night and the street lighting was quite poor. We could not find the number of the property- number 21 and had to walk up and down the street trying to looking at other houses to work out which was 21. There was no easy marking at the end of the drive to indicate that was the property. Putting no.21 at the end of the drive would be helpful to future customers. Accessing the key was no problem and having the picture of the property was not enough to be 100% sure it was the correct one.

Put a number 21 at the end of the drive. The pots and pans were very greasy, they had not been properly washed and we could not get the oven to work. After buying provisions to make a cooked breakfast we could not cook it and had to go out. The third bedroom had a broken blind, so rendered the room useless as a bedroom for those wanting to lie in. The image of a lovely telescope was a disappointment as we could not use it , eyepiece was missing. It was a shame because the property is impressive, great location, comfy beds, has everything you need but the basics could be improved.

The property was great, good location comfortable beds, very cosy living/dining area. Really clean

A lot of the kitchen glasses/cutlery was dirty. No mirror in bathroom, or full length ones in property. The plug for bath didn’t work. In the big main bedroom we experienced really loud banging that went on a while from pipes in wardrobe in the middle of the night a hand full of times which made us really jump waking us up.

The view from The puffins nest is fabulous! Sunrise across the sea, with The Farne Isles just off-shore takes some beating. Comfy beds. Practical bathroom.

Kitchen fine, but rather basic - few chipped/cracked plates. Freezer box so iced up, it couldn't be closed properly; we defrosted it.

The magnificent views and being so close to the beach. The spacious sitting room and well equipped kitchen.

Some of the equipment and furniture was not functioning well. Can opener, bathroom had no mirror, television had limited channels and there was no internet. The dining chairs seemed old and cumbersome. I had a couple stay on 2 nights. The husband had a dining chair collapse under him one night as it’s metal frame buckled. He fell backwards. He is 75 years old so this was distressing for him and his partner. I am now being told I have to pay for the chair!

The view was spectacular! The location was ideal for walking into Seahouses. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was really clean and seemed new.

The metal access stairs to the property. It wasn’t mentioned in the initial information and we had two dogs and a disabled child. The mismatched cutlery, mugs and glasses in the kitchen, they could do with being updated. The Hoover didn’t work on carpet and with two dogs we tried to hoover and it didn’t pick up at all.

Picture showed telescope facing the sea however their were no lens so unable to use and my grandson was dissapointed as had been looking forward to using it. Their was no mirror in large bedroom and 1 electic socket not working. Hallway had stains on the wall, would benefit from a freshen up.
