A cosy escape to the beautiful landscape of Northumbria!

We loved the cottage. The location to Seahouses was perfect and also to the places to visit in the area with a car (parking was a bonus too!). It was cosy and quiet, and had all the facilities we needed. We also had good recommendations of places to eat and drink from the host which was great. We had a super getaway, ideal for what we wanted.

10/10 for the Old Granary!

The Old Granary was everything we needed and made the weekend in Seahouses even more relaxing. The split levels meant we never felt on top of each other and the parking right outside made it really easy to come and go. I never rebook properties as I like to sample different properties, but I will 100% look at the Old Granary first, next time we are up in Northumberland. I cannot recommend this property enough! If you want the sea right on your doorstep or struggle with mobility, this property might not be for you? But for the price, the 10 minute walk into Seahouses never really affected us.

FANTASTIC stay

I've stayed in so many holiday homes down the years, but this one absolutely stole my heart!! It's FANTASTIC. Great location, very well equipped, cosy, incredibly comfy beds, super clean (with plenty of extra cleaning equipment if needed), plenty of hot water, great wifi, fab TV, dog friendly, kid friendly, sitting out the back with a G&T friendly, excellent communication from owner, easy to access, safe, quiet....I could carry on all day!

Enjoyable stay, recommended property, a great base to explore the area.

Great location easy walking distance to Seahouses. Clean, cozy and comfortable (nice firm comfy bed!), dog friendly, and great communication from the owner. Lovely welcome basket of snacks was very thoughtful and our dog enjoyed the treats provided for him too!

Perhaps consider adding some larger pasta size bowls and perhaps a deeper wide bottom pan/wok in the kitchen would be handy for cooking stir fry/pasta etc, however we managed with what was provided.

Perfect relaxing couple of days stay, would recommend to anyone

Lovely little cottage just been renovated, had everything we needed.

Nothing really only issue we had is on the twin room the door closer was really squeeky & noisy when you opened and shut the door. Wouldnt have liked to have 2 adults in the twin room would be a bit small but perfect for 1 adult or 2 kids.

Perfect property not far from the sea and lot of landmarks to visit ! clean, cosy with lot of table games to spend evenings with kids ;)
