The living room offers comfortable seating, a TV, and a futon for extra sleeping space. Enjoy outdoor living with a private balcony featuring a grill and a rooftop deck with lounge seating—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. For convenience, the home includes in-unit laundry and a 2-car tandem garage (height: 6'7", width: 7'6", depth: 28'). Additional street parking is available. Beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards are provided for guest use. My wife and teenage kids stayed for the week and the place was the perfect size.
Very clean & Spacious.
The master bedroom could use an update
The bed & pillows werent the best quality. The windows in master have white shear curtains, no blinds which allow the sun to enter the room by 5:00am. You definitely start the day early.
The other bedroom upstairs has 2 twin beds. One bed had a decent mattress, but the other bed had an extremely thin mattress which caused our teen daughter to sleep on the couch.
Garage is very narrow. If you have a larger vehicle, it will not fit. Youll have to find parking on mission blvd. We used the garage for bikes & scooters which was perfect.
Other than that, the place was great.

The place was clean and a great size for our family of 6 (my husband and me and 4 adult kids). We rented an SUV that seats 7 and it is almost impossible to get into the garage. We think the garage should actually be listed as a storage unit for beach toys and chairs (there are plenty!) and renters should plan to use the parking lot right around the corner/ across the beach for in and out parking. We also had trouble with the entry key pad (low battery) our first night and my son had to climb through a window to get in. VRBO has contracted out with VACASA and the VACASA folks really dropped the ball by not listing our calls as urgent. We were able to connect with two VACASA agents the next day that were SUPER helpful and got the lock fixed by noon the next day.
Mission Beach is a really fun area. We loved the restaurants and bars and had a great time at the beautiful beach!!!!!
Our week was wonderful and I would recommend this place. Once we got through the initial quirks the place was really perfect for us. The rooftop deck is SPECTACULAR and we watched ALL of the San Diego Fourth of July firework displays from there! Wonderful, wonderful time!!!!!!
