The open-concept living area flows seamlessly into a fully updated kitchen and extends out to an expansive front patio, making indoor-outdoor living feel completely natural. Whether you’re enjoying a slow morning coffee, soaking up the afternoon sun, or firing up the grill for an evening BBQ as the sky glows with a classic Southern California sunset, this home captures the easy rhythm of life by the ocean.
The spacious front patio is outfitted with loungers, seating, and a BBQ grill, offering a private spot to gather while still being just moments from the sand. Inside, the fully equipped modern kitchen features both a Keurig and a traditional drip coffee maker, along with everything needed for preparing meals at home. The cozy living room includes a smart TV with YouTube TV, and air conditioning throughout the home ensures comfort year-round. This beach cottage is everything you could ask for big front porch, clean wonderful room house and steps to the beach. It is exactly how it is advertised. I will be coming again.

Clean rooms, fast response from owner. Nice that it was pet friendly. Just a very short walk to the beach. We had a great time.

I'll start with the good stuff: patio is large for hanging outside, the house is all one floor so good for accessibility for seniors or small children. It has a nice open and vaulted living area. The internet speeds were blazing fast.
The VRBO information page is not accurate. This property has only four usable beds and one of them is a full size bed (not queen as advertised). One of the twin trundle beds is located 18 inches away from a queen size platform bed, it's impossible to get the bottom trundle bed out.
It was disappointing to arrive and find the house was not as advertised, especially since the minimum rental time was one week and we were paying premium season pricing.
The management company San Diego Vacation rentals was not helpful. When I contacted them to let them know about the misinformation, they said I was responsible for verifying the bed situation from the pictures of the home on the website. I was offered an inflatable mattress as a solution. Could you imagine booking a hotel room for a week, showing up and being offered less than what was advertised along with an air mattress as the solution?
I'd only recommend this house for a max of four adults and the possible 1-2 children. Potentially steer clear of homes managed by San Diego Vacation rentals as they are not helpful in finding resolutions for inaccurate properties that they manage.
