A visit to Windermere town, 4.5 miles away, offers plenty of activities, from water sports and scenic walks to the fascinating World of Beatrix Potter attraction, where little ones can step into the world of Peter Rabbit. If you prefer a quieter escape, Grasmere, 5 miles away, is famous for its literary history and picturesque walks, as well as the legendary Grasmere gingerbread – an absolute must-try treat.

Step into the inviting lounge, where a warm gas fire and Smart TV create a lovely setting for relaxing after a day of exploring. Just next door, the well-equipped kitchen/diner is ready for you to whip up delicious meals, whether it’s a leisurely breakfast or a hearty dinner after a long walk.
