Great stay enhanced by the quality of the property.

Really well furnished property. All amenities in excellent condition and the whole house is well swiped and very comfortable.

Minor complaint, parking is a bit tricky as ideally you need to reverse your car down a narrow alley off a busy road.

Other than not getting a comfortable sleep and ending up on the carpet downstairs it is a really nice place

Stayed a few times now and it’s in a great location with parking ideal for for exploring Ambleside

The sofa could do with an upgrade it’s not very comfortable and getting a bit uncomfortable. Also a new softer mattress in the back bedroom would be a great addition, would probably make it a really enjoyable stay instead of an ok one

Excellent position and facilities. Parking is tight— you need nerve— or a small car!!!

Breakfast is not applicable. The house was comfortable and in good location for eating out. It is near bus stops and shops and access to several walks from the house Parking access was certainly challenging but I was not driving!!! We used buses to go around Lake District. Very convenient.

We did like most things. I wish there had been a bit more outside sitting space/- but I realise it was needed for car parking We did not ever use front door as key didn’t work there// but really no problem as back door is excellent when we realised the knack of opening it— I think it might be warped a little. I could not use the big shower head/- but the small one was fine!!

big stain on chair. Bigger sofa needed rather than love seat. dog smell front fire had lights in so couldn’t light was given a Wi-Fi password that didn’t work

Excellent if we are back in the uk will use again

The location excellent for seeing the Lake District it was a home so breakfast not applicable. We had a problem of our own making. We emailed and within minutes Trevor was at our door and solved the problem. Great service

Centrally located, very comfortable and generally well equipped/stocked. Parking space very helpful, as Ambleside is very busy.

More coat hangers please! And a full length mirror! Otherwise, no issues albeit the house is fairly expensive for what it is.

The agents were fantastic quick to come and help sort the TV out. The location was excellent as was the parking for two cars. House was very clean.

September in Ambleside I'm

The property was in a good location for the bars, shops and restaurants and had a homely feel. It was very clean and had everything you needed for a lovely break.

There was a bit of road noise from the traffic which was particularly noticeable from the front bedroom early in the morning.

Perfect stay

The house was tastefully decorated, clean and well kitted out with everything you would need. There is off road parking which is great. Its in such a good location, Ambleside is a lovely town, central in the Lake District and the house is right in the middle of the town - not noisy at all though. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again!

Nothing. Only minor thing I would say is that there's no shower gel and no hairdryer (not that I could find anyway, I could be mistaken)

A beautiful place to stay and perfect location

Perfect location - you could not fault it! Everything had been thought about including personal touches such as a beautifully decorated Christmas tree that was lit up as we arrived. The place was wonderfully decorated and felt very cozy, we didn't want to leave!
