Finest Retreats - Alpine Cottage

Location is fabulous right on the river with good walks and a couple of local pubs. The property is clean and comfortable. great views of the river and valley.

Could do with a couple more serving bowls and extra cutlery. Also would have liked more than 1 dishwater tablet and a coiuple more bin bags.

The cottage was beautiful, I’m so pleased the owners provided directions because it was a little tricky to find just with sat nav, when we arrived we felt super welcome, the owners came to greet us and had left us some little welcome Easter treats which were a lovely touch! The property has absolutely everything you could think of and real luxury, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location couldn’t have been better right on the river, gorgeous walks with our dogs and pubs and restaurants local! It’s one of the nicest places we have stayed in the UK, so beautiful. We will definitely be returning.

I really can’t say anything I didn’t like! It was all great to be honest, just be prepared for the narrow roads but when you’re there you won’t want to leave!
