The location and the staff.
The room was somewhat on the smaller side.

This is my third time staying here which says a lot. It was reasonably priced for La Feria when other accommodations are simply extortionate. Well located just off Plaza de la Merced.

The location was very convenient, right in the city centre, you can walk anywhere. Plenty of good restaurants and tourist spots around as well. Women only shared room was a big plus. The cafe connected to the hostel was enjoyable, the staff was friendly and helpful. Mattress and bedsheets were clean and comfortable. AC was working and the room had nice temp, although one of the girls turned it of during one night and it got unbearably hot. It was right next to her bed so I guess it was blowing cold air right at her. I appreciated provided towel.
The bunk beds could be better. The bottom bunk had no light and I could not even sit up straight, with how little space there was. A shelf would be good too. They were also pretty unstable; I was pretty scared it would fall apart when the girl above me was moving. My bed had nice spacious locker but others had it much smaller and heard the girls complaining about it. The showers were a little bit dirty, there were no racks to hang your clothes on, the toilets were divided only by a thin plastic partition, so you didn’t have much privacy. The street could get a little noisy because of the bars, but it was fine when you closed the window. A missed a kitchen we could use a lot; at least there was a fridge and a microwave in the room. Some common area would be nice.

Very nice café with healthy options to start your day. Location just at the old town centre near to everything.
The room was smelling of mold and the (women’s) bathroom had lots of mold in the ceiling. This needs to be renovated since it’s a health issue due to living and growing bacteria. The shower cabinets too small and no good ventilation. Lot’s of noise in the evenings due to restaurants outside.
