Very unprofessional owner
The location is the best. The latino guy working at the reception is helpful and with lots of understanding.
It was the only place throughtout my 6 bookings in Spain that I wasn't allowed to leave my luggage. The owner didn't accept leaving my one and only small backpack there but instructed me to leave the luggage at a place with lockers by giving me the leaflet. Though that place doesn't exist anymore which doesn't seem very professional approach of the owner. So I had to walk around to find a place to leave the luggage. Most places charge about 10-12euros so you have to count this amount to the final price of the hostel if it is to go around Malaga after the early check out at 11.00. Bonus tip is the laundry I left my luggage for 5euros, at Frailes street, just one street over the hostel. Moreover, just after I left the hostel at 10.55 by giving the key to the hand of the owner I received an e-mail, saying that I was delaying giving back my key and that would lead to charging my bank card for a late check out, so be careful of that total scam of the hostel and be focused on your bank account transactions.

It's a nice place but definitely not for everyone so choose wisely.
Location is the strongest but at the same time the weakest aspect of this hostel. It was so easy to access best places in Malaga as they are within walking distance from the property and I loved it! I managed to see so much in only 3 days which I spent in the city. Also, the staff is amazing! Kind and helpful and they really keep the place clean at all times. However, being located at a busy square that is very lively at night, makes it almost impossible to have a good night sleep. Even ear plugs couldn't help... I had 2 sleepless nights and then finally slept thorough the third one simply because I was exhausted. So, If you are in Malaga to enjoy nightlife, this accommodation is a great choice. But if you are an explorer who needs a good sleep after a long day of exploring, find a bed elsewhere.
The noise at night coming from the pubs and restaurants as well as the noises made by other users of the hostel coming home 3-4 am and not even trying to keep it quiet.

Great value in the city centre, with friendly, helpful staff.
Great location, but difficult to find, as it’s a listed building they can’t have a sign outside. When I finally got in, the staff member kindly explained this to me. He said they had sent me instructions by email but I didn’t get them as I don’t have a smartphone. I got a very warm welcome and the place was very nice indeed. - if a little old fashioned, reminded me of places I used to stay when I was much younger, which was nostalgic for me.
A little bit more room in the room, to spread luggage would have been better. Maybe more hooks on the wall to hang things on? There was just one coat stand in the corner to hang things on, and it easily got overbalanced.

My worse life experience
Nothing
The worse of the worse. If u wanna suffocate with smell, overcrowded and super small rooms with 6 people in a very small space. Go there ! TO AVOID !!

Cheap and very comfortable!
The staff were very welcoming and very helpful! Loads of things going on, cooking classes and a free Flamenco show.
The rooftop area did not seem to be open. Would have been nice to have had a dip in the pool.
