Fine - I do not think it is a 3 star hotel - single room very small and basic and tv did not work

I had booked 3 nights 2nd December but due to an illness was unable to stay and had to pay for 1st night - then rebooked 3 nights from 10th Jan and did not get any reduced rate- my friends were booked in nearby hotel and did not forfeit any money

Fabulous place!

Lovely friendly place, we arrived after 1 am and the night manager was very friendly and welcoming. There were several pizza places just around the corner on Calle Carcer where we could get food at nearly 2 am, and the night manager sold us beer to have with it. Love the art in the room, beds v comfortable, breakfast good. Very close to the Alcazaba and museums and gazillions of restaurants.

We liked everything. There's a lot of noise from revellers outside the hotel until late so if you are a light sleeper you may need ear plugs.

Very kind and helpful staff, e.g. Almu at the reception. Clean and bright room. Attention to details, e.g. a handwritten welcome note addressed to us. You can leave luggage in a storeroom after checkin out. Free coffe offered on arrival. Nicely decorated room/hall/...

Suggestions for (minor) improvements: a water cooker in the room would be nice. A bit more non sweet options for breakfast (e.g. egg and bacon, cheese).

Perfect hotel for a short visit to Malaga

The location was great for a short visit to Malaga only a 10 minute walk to the city centre shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were attentive and helpful providing some nice personal touches to the room. Great breakfast.

In line with a lot of Spanish hotels there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Amazing value for money a great place to stay

The location is amazing with in walking distance to so many landmarks, so many eestaurants and coffee shops. The property is well kept and very clean

My bedroom n 13 near a staff door! Tonigh 1.14 move bottle bottle and bottle . 1.30, clients bla bla in the middle pf the bedroom, 2 o clock people speak, and the door pf the first floor are terrible?? This morning im stand up at 6 o ckock for go to work, in my bathroom i have a little animal around the shower. 203€ for one small bed and small small bedroom!! Nothing else.

Very central, very welcoming and very clean hotel, ideal for short stay

Great hotel near centre of Malaga, very welcoming reception and room was so clean. Lovely welcome note in the room. I would stay here again. We only stayed on night as we were flying out of Malaga next morning early, perfect location for that as it’s near the airport.

A most pleasant surprise for the money!

For me the best part of this hotel was its location! I could walk to almost anything I wanted to see. The Alcazaba and Castillo de Gibralfaro were minutes walk away and the Museo de Artes Y Costumbres Populares was about a 10 minute walk. Everywhere else was 20 to 30 minutes walk on flat land. The hotel was clean, the bathroom spacious enough, and what I chose fit my budget perfectly!

I really have no complaints or suggestions here. The staff was amazing, pleasant and willing to help every time. Breakfast was very nice, included in the price, lots of fresh pastries and wonderful coffee!

Lovely friendly, small hotel in heart of town.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Very welcoming. Excellent location in old town with restaurants nearby and fantastic ice-cream shop on the corner. Nice continental breakfast with great coffee and fresh orange juice. Left luggage no problem. Nice sun terrace on the roof. Free filtered water for rooms and to take out if you want to avoid buying plastic bottles.

Very basic room in a good location

Good location

I paid £245 a night for the most basic room I wouldn’t have paid more that £130. Communication with the hotel was fluent up until I wrote that the room had been dropped down to £ 140 a night prior to my arrival. Totally ignored after this hence my review.

A superbly located hotel in the modern boutique style, with super staff and facilities.

The hotel is centrally located in the old town area, near the beautiful Plaza Merced. You step out into the maze of narrow streets alive with bars, restaurants and clubs. Despite that the internal room was peaceful. The whole hotel was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were super pleasant and helpful. The hotel's choices of bright reds and stark blacks against the white walls certainly reflected the name! Room facilities were sufficient for a short stay, but may be a little lacking for a longer one. The lobby area was being "refurbished" at the time we visited, so will be different to later visitors.
