Alley Suites - New 1BR unit in Gudja by SF Homes

The room was very modern while remaining authentic and had a great ambience. The proximity to the airport is very valuable, not only when arriving and leaving, but also when commuting daily, since it's very close to Valletta, and has some direct lines, perfect for a week-long stay.

I think that the pinned location they send you isn't correct, and has you puzzled when finding the accommodation for the first time, so it should be updated, however the address is correct. The lack of a kitchen is a downside, meaning that you have to eat at restaurants that can be expensive. The town that it's located in is small and usually doesn't give you opportunities for eating out, and has a few small shops. Also, Malta uses a different type of socket than the rest of Europe, meaning you need an adapter, which we didn't have, but has a hub that lets you charge your devices. The problem occurs when your device requires higher power for charging. This doesn't diminish the good experience that we had.

Nagyon igényes szállás, minden szükséges felszereléssel. Ha autót vagy motort béreltek arra figyeljetek, hogy a közeli utcákban nem lehet megállni, de egyébként maga a szállás mindenben megfelel a leírtaknak.

The location was easy to get to, quiet, clean and comfortable. The instructions on the use of the property were very good and the checklist for leaving was also a great help.

I wasn’t to sure about the rubbish disposal but took it with me to dispose of.

I arrived at the village of Gudja from the direction of the airport. I had received directions to the accommodation from SF Homes, stating that I should start from St Mary’s Butcher’s. I keyed the name into my mobile, which told me there was no such place. I called in at a local bar and asked if they knew of St Mary’s Butchers. They said they didn’t and that there was not a butchers in the area with that name. I rang SF Homes for guidance. The man told me that “Hundreds...” of their clients had followed the same directions from St Mary’s Butcher’s to the accommodation before, implying that the fault was mine. Each time, I tried to reason with the man, he would talk over me. I became frustrated and realised I was not getting anywhere as he was not willing to change his stance. I still dont know where the accommodation is. In the end, I chose another self-check-in accommodation in the area and was happy with their service.
