Rita House Cozy Stay Near Malta Airport, Paola

The location was perfect for us, as we hired a car, which meant it was quite central for visiting each corner of the island. It must be said though, its not always easy finding a parking spot very close by, but thats maltese streets for you! The house itself has every amenity you could possibly need, including a well stocked fridge! (Thank you!). Two bedrooms, both with double beds. Also a nice little outside area at the back to eat your Pastrizzi. We would definitely stay here again and plan to come back to Malta again soon.

The only thing that could do with updating is the shower cubicle, but that's a very minor point.

The place was much bigger & nicer than we expected, it's even more elegant and cozy than the pictures show. It smelled lovely and clean, with more than enough towels, toiletries, and kitchen utensils. We got the TV working and watched movies, enjoyed the terrace, and slept great. The host, Dayton, checked in daily to make sure everything was ok and also left a huge stock of drinkable water for us, which was amazing! There was a bus station a 10 minute walk from the apartment, which then takes you to Valletta in 30 minutes and all over Malta!

Notably, the bathroom is attached to one bedroom, so those staying in bedroom #2 have to walk through bedroom #1 whenever they want to access it. The toilet flusher was broken when we stayed, so sometimes it wouldn't flush completely. Sounds from the apartment above were audible but not too bad.

Very comfortable beds with included Wifi, washing machine, dryer and kitchen. The location is well placed for buses to Valletta as well as other locations on the island. Close to The Hypogeum and Tarxien Temples (walking distance). The owner checked in often to make sure that we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.

A small inconvenience was that the bathroom was only accessible via one of the bedrooms.

Super nice house. We felt very welcome by the owner who was very helpful and flexible. It felt like home really. More things provided than expected.
