The Cottage

Lovely environment/setting. The cottage was comfortable, amenities were a good standard. A peaceful environment. Wished we stayed longer to enjoy the pool!

Needs better road signals for directions, as the GPS was vague. It kept telling us that we were there and we were still on the main road. We had to do a couple of loops in the car till we found the exit and the blue gate. We git there!

The house is wonderful, a traditional Maltese home, located inside a farm with chickens and wonderful cats. Despite being near the airport is absolutely quiet and peaceful. Inside the kitchen has all the tools needed, is all clean, the bed is very comfortable and the AC is perfect for the Maltese hot summer. We had a welcome surprise on the arrival, a plate with cheese, ham, Parma ham and bread. Giovanni provides fresh eggs, from the farm, every day if you want. Also, if needed, a beach umbrella can be provided, which was very helpful, the only place out of 3 we stayed in Malta, that lend us one. Despite the late hour Giovanni picked us up at the airport. Giovanni and Patricia are incredible hosts and amazing people, they help the cats around... and as people say, "who saves a live saves the world". Thank you for make us feel home.

Very close to the airport. The host Patricia and Giovanni were friendly and hospitable. The Cottage itself was big, comfortable and as advertised.

• charming cottage with everything you could need! Spare toiletries, towels, pool towels, toilet rolls, washing machine and laundry pods. • lovely hosts, Giovanni very kindly brought us some home grown grapes during our stay! • can't hear the planes from inside the cottage. • loved the cats!! They must have about 10 of them and it was lovely getting to know them during the week. • hosts helped us set up parasol over the pool on a hot day!

• ants in the cottage. We made sure to wash up cookware, and clean surfaces after every meal but there were lots of ants on the worktops, and floors despite our cleaning. • there is aircon in the bedroom but it doesn't work very well. I wonder if the filter needs changing. We struggled to sleep because it was really hot each night, even with the aircon on full. • not a negative but worth mentioning that the hosts live on site as well. So you share the pool and outside areas with them. But they are very respectful and it doesn't affect your privacy at all.
