Talbot House by Talbot & Bons

It was very convenient for the airport We loved the quirky aspect of the very old building The shower was amazing

The bare stone was crumbling and there was a lot of dust around The pillows were old a lumpy The bathroom sink had a leak

Great location near the church, and very easy to access with the PIN code to enter the house. Everything was well organised, and we really appreciated being able to check in late at night. A great place to stay for one night after a flight, especially if you’re looking for somewhere close to the airport.

We had a really lovely old fashioned room, spacious as you like with views of the church off the balcony. The town is nice and quiet, very quaint anftwell serviced for busses. And has a very walkable 25 minute route to the airport, which was very handy for us with a very early flight to catch.

There was only one decent place to eat in that was open, did to it being end of season, but that was closed for a private function, but they did serve us a couple of drinks while they were setting up.

Close to the airport. Some facilities in the room like a coffee machine and a little oven.

Dirty floor and mold signs on the walls. At the entrance of the room there is a big step quite dangerous and we almost hurt ourselves. The double bed was made of two single ones, but comfortable enough. No tables/shelves to leave smartphone and glasses. Nothing to hang clothes/towels, neither in the bedroom nor in the bathroom. The check-in wasn't really perfect, they sent me the wrong access code, and when I called to ask for help they kept saying that I was in the wrong location even if the address and the picture of the building were correct... They should probably do something to reduce the bells noise (at every hour also at night).
