Tucked away on 6+ secluded acres in Mentone, Little River Family Retreat is where crisp mountain mornings begin with coffee on the porch, afternoons are spent exploring wooded trails and Little River, and cool evenings end by the fire.

Private Riverfront Cabin – Sleeps 16 – 5 BR – 4.5 BA – Screened Porch + Fire Pit
Little River Family Retreat is a private riverfront cabin on 6+ private wooded acres near the Middle Fork of Little River, designed for families and groups to gather, relax and make memories together.
The cabin sleeps up to 16 guests and features 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 3 fireplaces, a large screened porch with wood-burning fireplace, multiple gathering spaces, a walking trail to the river, a fire pit, game area and two king bedrooms on the main level.
Guests especially love the stocked coffee bar, spacious great room and well-equipped kitchen. There’s plenty of room to cook, play games, watch movies or simply enjoy being together.
Outside, enjoy rocking chairs, wooded views, the fire pit, cornhole, horseshoes and peaceful walks toward the river. Although the cabin feels secluded, it is located just 1.5 miles from the Georgia/Alabama line and is close to hiking, waterfalls, restaurants and outdoor activities.
Its a wonderful spot for a family getaway, church retreat, girls' weekend or relaxing escape to reconnect and unwind.
Guests have access to the entire cabin, Creekside Quarters, porches, outdoor gathering areas and guest-accessible areas of the property.
PLEASE NOTE: Creekside Quarters is the lower level of the cabin, not a separate building. It has its own private exterior entrance and is not connected to the main and upper levels by an interior staircase.
Creekside Quarters includes a living area with TV and gas fireplace, kitchenette, dining area, full bathroom, one king bed with twin bunk above, and queen bed with twin trundle. Your reservation includes all levels of the cabin, including Creekside Quarters.
We love creating the little comforts that make a trip feel special. Guests will find a well-stocked coffee bar with K-cups, ground coffee, sweeteners, creamers and syrups, along with a kitchen stocked for real cooking—spices, cookware, an Instant Pot, crock pot and more.
Little River Family Retreat was made for slowing down, reconnecting and enjoying time together in a peaceful wooded setting.

Better than great! So many extra touches to make your stay better. King bed in every room, tons of space, beautiful scenery, and secluded. Close to Mentone, Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon National Park. Richard & Carol are fabulous hosts and quick to respond. We will stay again when we are in the area next.

The cabin was adorable, cozy and comfortable with a beautiful property! Well appointed with all the necessities. Quick and friendly communication throughout our stay. I would warn folks that the lower level is only accessible from the outside which was not convenient on a snowy weekend, but might be fine for others.

The best place we have stayed in years. This place had everything we needed and all the extras you don’t expect. I loved all the snacks the host left for us and we all enjoyed the coffee bar. There was plenty of room for the whole group and we all enjoyed the king sized beds, the beds were comfortable and my wife loved the sheets and the comforters. We are planning a return trip w the host now. Super place. Private and plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful natural setting. The rocking chairs on the back deck were perfect. I wanna go back right now and rock the evening away in front of the fireplace.
