Picture this....you are searching for a perfect cabin for large families, multi-family trips, church groups, reunions, or couples weekends! You would like to be in the quaint town of Mentone, AL! You would also like to be off the main road and getting there through the woods down a long driveway would exceed expectations! The property would be very private & wrapped in beautiful hardwoods with a walking trail, horseshoes and corn hole game in the front yard. Oh, it would have a nice fire pit and some comfortable Adirondack chairs to make outdoor campfires so comfy. Well, that's what you just found!
A place where you can hear the wind move through the trees, where the only sounds at night come from the crackling fire and laughter of your people. A place with room for everyone to spread out, yet cozy enough to bring everyone together. Rocking-chair porches, warm gathering spaces, a screened porch made for long conversations, and three fireplaces just waiting for someone to get lost in it's warmth!
Our cabin is private, wholesome, relaxing and just far enough away from everything that you finally feel like you can catch your breath! This is Little River Family Retreat - your perfect Mentone getaway! That describes the outside, but we haven't even started on the inside!

Overall a great family stay. Cabin was clean, well-stocked, comfortable beds, and a lot of special touches throughout to make this a memorable family gathering. We made smores at the fire pit and the kids loved them. Played some cornhole and Grandpa is still the champ! This is the perfect place to spend time with family - lots of beautiful nearby parks and trails. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning sipping on our coffee watching the river below. Very peaceful! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - THANKS!

The dwelling is excellent, and the property is lovely and private. It's a great cabin that has been beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully equipped with everything that you could possibly need. Also, Mary the property manager was very prompt in responding to questions, and was very helpful. It was a hit with all of the members of our group!!
