About this house rental
The beautiful new Bellewood Lodge pays homage to fairy tales of old with its Bavarian-nuanced architecture on the edge of a great forest. It is the latest addition to the uniquely charming world of Candlelight Forest Resort, with its 200 acres of preserve, encompassing two lakes, a creek, trails and many amenities. Just 18 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, The Bellewood is also central to all the famous Chattanooga attractions as well as being 20 minutes away from Cloudland Canyon State Park.

This property was a perfect fit for my group of 9 adults. I especially appreciated the a ton of indoor and outdoor gathering space. The area is very quiet and you can see a great view of the stars at night.

Our family group of 16 had a fabulous week at Bellewood! Our favorite spaces were the front porch with large porch swing, the wonderfully spacious kitchen/dining room area, and the back patio around the fire pit. We also loved the creek, baby goats and fishing (and catching!) in Lake Angela. It is a place full of peace, in the woods (not many bugs BUT fireflies at night!). Terrific space, great host, highly recommend!

This home has so much character and warmth. It was inviting for everyone in our group. It is very spacious with multiple places to hang out if someone needs a break from the larger group. They have done a great job with the design and decor.
Each bedroom is adorable and has its own ensuite. There is a fire pit outside surrounded by rustic chairs - perfect for roasting marshmallows. A hiking trail starts next to the property and takes you to Candlelight forest in about 15 minutes. It is worth the walk - so cute! We're hoping for a repeat visit soon.
