Ash Lodge is a lovely, cosy log cabin with a new outdoor hot tub, set in the most picturesque location in Whistlefield by Loch Eck in Argyll Forest Park within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. With stunning mountain views this inviting lodge is perfect for a romantic escape and for outdoor enthusiasts there are opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing or simply relaxing in this beautiful location. Access the lodge via a downhill pathway and steps to the lower level lodge entrance from the carpark. Inside warm and welcoming Ash Lodge there are modern furnishings and it is fully equipped with a comfortable living/dining area, electric heating throughout, and a smart television, and Wi-Fi. Leading off the spacious living area is a small well-equipped kitchen featuring a dishwasher, microwave and fridge. The lodge features a bright and sunny comfortable double bedroom with a fitted wardrobe and mirror. The family bathroom is complete with shower, wash basin and toilet. Outside there is an inviting private hot tub, a new and spacious decked area where chairs and tables are provided for alfresco dining on the covered balcony or in the garden area, you may even spot the frequent red squirrels at play. Ash Lodge is the ideal place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring this spectacular region.
Visit local attractions including the Benmore Botanic Gardens, Glenbranter, and historic Kilmun. The region is filled with places to see and things to do. The area is one big outdoor playground. Take your pick from walking, cycling, sailing, fishing, golfing, windsurfing and more. The township of Dunoon is only a 20 minute drive away and offers a selection of coffee shops, craft shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Argyll’s Secret Coast, the Isle of Bute, and historic Inveraray, it’s also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland.
