About this house rental
The Accommodation
Three levels of creative possibilities spread across 212 m². The first floor features the sleeping area—quiet and cozy, ideal for unwinding—as well as an additional restroom. A staircase leads to the open-concept first floor, where the living and dining areas merge: Here you’ll find a well-designed kitchen and a spacious dining and living area for shared meals and social evenings, as well as a modern shower room. On the second floor—our “Home of Play”—a 7×7×7 m loft space with high ceilings opens up. Large industrial windows flood every floor with light, and thanks to efficient heat pump heating and air conditioning, the indoor climate remains pleasant year-round.
The loft has been furnished with great attention to detail: high-quality materials, fully insulated walls, and stylish lighting create a cozy atmosphere. Despite its industrial roots, you don’t have to sacrifice comfort—from the cozy sofa area to high-speed Wi-Fi, everything is here. Of course, the entire property is exclusively at your disposal—you’ll enjoy complete privacy on all three floors.
The highlight of the loft is the massive game area on the top floor: a 7 × 7 × 7-meter room that’s already ready for fun and activity. There’s plenty of space here to let off some steam. The area is gradually being transformed into an analog play paradise: Coming soon, you can look forward to a foosball table, a dartboard, and many other party games that offer genuine offline gaming fun. As our first guests, you can use this space to your heart’s content and are welcome to give us feedback on what other games or features you’d like to see. This unique indoor play area makes the loft perfect for social gatherings and unforgettable experiences—whether children or adults, everyone’s eyes light up here.
Our accommodations are located in the heart of the up-and-coming Oberschöneweide art district, in the historic Spreehallen right on the Spree River. The creative atmosphere is palpable everywhere: internationally renowned artists such as Olafur Eliasson, Alicja Kwade, and Jorinde Voigt have their studios right in the neighborhood.
– So you’ll be living right next door to great art! The surroundings combine industrial charm with Berlin’s spirit of innovation. The Spree flows right outside your door—perfect for walks along the riverbank—and just a few steps away, trendy cafés, restaurants, and galleries in old factory buildings beckon.
Nature isn’t left out either: The sprawling Wuhlheide Park, with its playgrounds, woods, and the recreational and concert area (Parkbühne), is very close by. Despite the quiet location, you’re well connected: You can reach downtown Berlin in about 20 minutes by public transit. This unique blend of urban culture and a green oasis makes the location particularly attractive.

Guest access
Our guests enjoy exclusive access to the entire 3-story loft space (≈ 212 m²)—first floor, living/dining gallery on the 1st floor, the 7 × 7 × 7 m “Home of Play” on the 2nd floor, and the private Spree terrace.
The main entrance is at ground level and wheelchair-accessible; the loft door opens via the Nuki app (a digital key is sent to your smartphone 24 hours before arrival). This allows you to check in and out contactlessly and flexibly 24/7.
All rooms, furniture, and games are exclusively at your disposal. Only a locked utility room/storage area remains reserved for the host.
A parking space for your car and secure bike storage are located in the courtyard, which is shared with the neighboring studios.
If you have any questions or if the app isn’t working properly, we’re available around the clock by phone and chat—help is just a click away.
Additional important information
Pioneer Phase = Extra Perks
You’re booking the loft while it’s still in its beta version: Some pieces of furniture and games are brand-new, while others will be added in the coming months. In return, you’ll benefit from the introductory price—we welcome your feedback!
Open-Concept Loft & Stairs
The three levels are connected by a cantilevered steel staircase. Children ages 6 and up are welcome; younger children or guests with limited mobility should discuss the staircase situation with us in advance.
Industrial Charm ≠ Hotel Standards
The charm of old factory halls occasionally brings creative activity to the courtyard. During the week, light workshop activity may be audible during the day—evenings are usually very quiet.
Safety & Order
A fire alarm system, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits are available; please treat the play equipment with care. We reserve the right to charge a security deposit for significant damage.
Parking & Delivery
One car parking space directly in front of the door, as well as secure bicycle parking, are available free of charge.
Berlin Overnight Stay Tax
Private guests pay a 7.5% city tax (Airbnb deducts it automatically)—this must be paid by the guest upon check-in. Business travelers are exempt—proof of business travel is sufficient.
