Apartments am Brandenburger Tor

Fabulous location for seeing sights and ease of getting around. Helpful staff and secure luggage storage system. Apartment amenities including washing machine was terrific.

Our apartment was a bit sparse and bare. Mattress bit too hard. Sofa was old and peeling. Didn’t feel like the best space to just come back and relax after a long day out.

The location was perfect, walking distance from the heart of the city. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities. The area was quiet and had multiple restaurants and stores in close proximity.

The Wi-Fi was a bit flaky. 5GHz didn't work at all on my device, and the 2.4GHz was slow. My friends did get the 5GHz to work, but it was slow and would sometimes not work at all for a few seconds. Wi-Fi didn't work well in the bedrooms, only in the living room. I think a Wi-Fi repeater or mesh system would greatly improve coverage and quality. Additionally, the shower drain was clogged and water would slowly fill the tub during a shower. It would drain in about a minute after you were done, so it wasn't too much of a problem. The pillows were very big and thick, which wasn't comfortable for everyone, and some ended up sleeping without pillows due to the discomfort.

Location, location, location!

Bathroom - shower curtain mildewed, smell in the bathroom, toilet cistern wonky, toilet bowl old and stained, no mat in bath. Lack of glasses, cutlery and other basic items in the kitchen. No air conditioning, in very hot weather, fans not helpful. Condom wrapper found under the bed...
