This was my favorite apartment on a 30 day trip to 4 cities in Europe. It was modern, spacious, well decorated and had great light coming in the large glass windows. The price was very reasonable. Great pub on the first floor. The day staff were very friendly. We arrived after midnight and had trouble with the remote entry. A barkeep from the pub helped us. The only negative was you can hear the underground trains even in the penthouse (6th floor). We got used to them after a few days but some people could be bothered. Bring earplugs. We would definitely stay here again regardless. Two free washers & dryers in the basement for shared use. The location was fantastic. An S-Bahn station is across the street with trams/buses there as well. You can get around town very easily. We used a Berlin Welcome Card - transit only. A large Rewe grocery store is an 8 min walk away. There are plenty of restaurants around but our favorite was the Gentle Restaurant across the river from the Reichstag downtown. Incredibly good Asian food.
