Amazing apartment in the heart of Berlin next to Check Point Charlie, 1 to 4 Guests

Everything. It was truly an “an amazing apartment in the heart of Berlin”! You couldn’t find a better location, at least not with the comfort and “hominess” that you will find here. At first I was unsure looking at the building, which one of those tall East German apartment buildings, but appearances do deceive! I also thought perhaps that the apartment would be up on one of the top floors, with a magnificent view of the city. But no, it was on the third floor. When we entered the apartment, we immediately saw the benefits: an inviting balcony with a view of the green trees in the park just across from the building. Wonderfully filtered sunlight entered the room, and that was a good thing too! We were here at the beginning of August and it was hot ( 32C/90F), but we had this cool breeze coming in from the park. Of course, there were also fans and an A/C unit available to keep it from getting stuffy, which were a helpful addition to the amenities. Speaking of amenities, the apartment was amply provided with everything you would need in the kitchen, with many plates and glasses for the party that you immediately feel you need to have here, because this will place is so kick-ass (pardon my French)! And the discount grocery store is literally right next door for you fresh food needs, and other more up-scale food stores are all within walking distance. The bathroom is what you might call “cozy” - but remember you are staying in registered landmark, preserving the buildings of the East German era. Despite its “petite” nature, it was immaculately clean and nicely kitted out. Of course, the discount store nearby (Lidl) is also good (and cheap) if you have any special needs. Okay, I’ve realize have just written a dissertation (why couldn’t I do that when I was trying to get my PhD?), but this apartment deserves it, and more. I can’t recommend this more highly. Perhaps some pickier folk will find a flaw here or there (nobody’s perfect!

Amazing stay ! place is cozy, clean and well decorated. Amazing location, good bedding, a bathtub ! Lost the keys at night and amazing property manager arranged so that I could get the service key and sleep at the appartment at night. Amazing service ! Will come back !

Excellently positioned, in the historical centre. Homely, with lots of character.
