Forrest Farmstay Apartments with a Pool

We had a fantastic week at the house. The location up on the mountain is unique, as the view from the pool area is an highlight and you can start directly onto the surrounding hiking trails from the front door. The local restaurants in the area are great, authentic, affordable, and easy to reach on foot. Down in the village, there are convenient shopping options and an affordable fuel station, and day trips to Ljubljana are very easy to do with about a 30 minute drive. The house itself is modern and furnished to a high standard, with comfortable beds, great wardrobes, clean bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, and terrace with good view at the pool. The host deserves immense praise for being friendly, helpful, and very responsive. When the access road was washed out after heavy rain, it was repaired the very next day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The roughly 3 km gravel road up the mountain has some steeper and more demanding sections. It is completely manageable with a four-wheel-drive vehicle or cars with decent ground clearance, but you need to drive carefully with regular passenger cars or leased vehicles. A brief, more detailed note in the listing description about the road conditions would be helpful for future guests.
