Apartment Na skali

Close to centre of Old Kranj. Good apartment security. Good size apartment. Comfortable bed and bed settee. Good but noisy air-conditioning. Good bathroom size. Good shower. Great washer drier machine. Lots of storage space in room and bathroom. Very good induction hob cooker. Good ventilation through large tilt and turn windows.

Not as clean as it could have been in kitchen area, flooring and bathroom, we needed to clean kitchen unit doors, floor, and bathroom sink and mold in shower area. Noisy aircon unit. Noisy neighbours above. Noisy when windows are open all night. View from apartment windows overlook all apartment bin storage. Aircon drags into apartment cigarette smoke from next-door Old Town Hostel outdoor smokers in the evening and 1st thing in the morning. Blocked shower drain. Blocked bathroom sink drain. Ceiling lighting very basic unshaded lamps only and blindingly bright. Unfinished decoration from removal of old Aircon unit and old pipework not removed capped off sufficiently. Very basic smart TV, unable to mirror pc or phone to be able to get programs or streaming required.

Pillows and additional bed wasn’t on the level of rest of apartment.

The property was well located in the middle of Kranj, the flat was comfortable and had good amenities - e.g washing machine. The host was responsive and the cleaner was really nice. The airport isn’t far and the apartment cost per night was affordable. Overall I had a good stay.

There was quite a lot of noise coming from the hallway traffic but that can be managed with earplugs. I wish it was communicated before booking about extra fees on the check in app (€5/day service fee) and deposit required (or extra fee to avoid deposit).

The location was great, close to the centre

You have to download an additional app Dr guest and send all your personal data including ID number. I have doubts about the security of this app but to get the key code and check in you simply have to do it. Then you have to pay the deposit which was 120€ and wasn't mentioned in the reservation before.
