La source de Vaugadeland

Newly renovated small very charming castle, decorated in excellent taste. You can tell that attention has been given to every detail. Amazing dinners on site, just alert your hosts before 10 in the morning, for them to prepare. Local ingredients for both brakfast and dinner - even some vegetables from their own garden. Great knowledge of local wine and specialties. The hosts are very very nice and - rightfully - clearly proud of the place they have spent 6 years renovating. Ask your hosts for tips and tricks for the area. It pays off! Great cycling in the vicinity, which was our reason to pick this spot in the first place.

You need to drive (or bike) to reach other options for food and drink(s). That’s just a circumstance and needs to be considered, depending on your plans.

We loved the location, the room was perfect for our stay - a beautifully restored space. The food we had here throughout our stay was absolutely amazing too.

Nothing

I absolutely loved this place! It’s beautiful, recently renovated, spotlessly clean, and so well cared for. Everything is thoughtfully maintained, which makes the whole experience even more special. And the food was simply spectacular! Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared, fresh, and homemade. You can really taste the care and attention that goes into every dish. It was truly wonderful, and I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

The only downside was the communication. The owners are also the only staff members, and they speak only French, not English. This made it a little difficult for us to communicate and understand each other at times, which could be challenging for international guests.

Vraiment dommage.
