The Continental Hotel

Great family owned hotel. Comfy beds, clean rooms, close to the airport and incredible value. A highlight was the breakfast, with some delicious Sri Lanka sambal and roti, in addition to eggs and toast. Would definitely recommend for a family wanting to stay here for their first night after landing late in Sri Lanka, or on your way out if you have a morning flight. We came with our kids and they were super happy.

This is a great welcoming home-stay when we arrived in the country- they set the vibe of what hospitality means in Sri Lanka. Place is near the airport and the complimentary pick up went smoothly. Since we also arrived late at night - the owner served us free dinner cooked by their family resto too. Truly amazing people and we are grateful on how they made us feel safe and secure. the room is so spacious and new facilities. Place is still expanding and more facilities to come. Breakfast is also very filling- just right energy for the next destination in Sri lanka

Stairs going up and hopefully more improvements on facilities

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The owner personally picked me up at the airport. The owner's whole family was warm and hospitable, and the breakfast they made was also very rich. It was really great.
