    The hosts are so lovely and make you feel at home right away. The bathroom is clean and the rooms are spacious. The beds are comfy and the AC works great. There is also laundry available on site. This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking to chill for a night or two before or after flying into Colombo.

    Honestly, not a fan of Negombo and wouldn’t recommend solo female travelers to be in the town for more than a night. But Mel’s Inn itself was a blessing because of how kind and warm the owner and her welcome was. Super sweet person and host. It’s a simple budget stay, tucked in a quite alley.
