Great for what I needed it to be! One night close to airport.

If you are only going to accept cash, it would be helpful for them to have change on hand. I had just arrived and so didn’t have small bills from ATM and they didn’t have proper change on hand. Got my driver involved to help.

We stayed at Serene Villa Transit Hotel for a few hours before our early morning flight, and it was an excellent choice for a short transit stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also spotless. The staff was friendly and cooperative. Since we had to leave for the airport at 4:30 AM, the hotel called their taxi driver early in the morning. The transfer was smooth and hassle-free, which made our early morning departure very convenient. The location is the major advantage—it's only about a 10-minute drive from Bandaranaike International Airport, making it perfect for transit travelers. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay near the airport. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel accepts cash only, so it's a good idea to have cash with you before checking in.
