Visitor’s Tax/Overnight Stay Tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Exclusive "Lotsenlounge" Vacation Rental in the Lotsenhus Wismar
Our "Lotsenlounge" vacation rental is located in the "Lotsenhus," features a loggia from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the “Old Harbor” and Wismar’s churches, as well as a uniquely situated southwest-facing sun terrace with lounge furniture.
The 70 m² apartment is located on the top floor (2nd floor) and consists of a high-quality living area with an open kitchen—including a quiet dishwasher—a bedroom, and a modern bathroom with a shower. The storage room contains a high-quality washing machine, which we provide for your free use.
The vacation apartment is designed for 2–4 people. When accommodating 4 people, the corner sofa in the living area can be quickly converted into a comfortable double bed.
A separate storage room in the adjacent building is available for bicycles, surfboards, and similar items, where you’re also welcome to charge your e-bike. The Baltic Sea Cycle Route is located 50 meters from the “Lotsenhus.”
The vacation rental includes a free parking space right next to the house. Wi-Fi and wired internet are available to our guests free of charge with a high connection speed (50 Mbit/s). The TV also provides internet access, e.g., for streaming services.
Please understand that pets are not allowed in the apartment. The “Lotsenlounge” is a non-smoking apartment. You are welcome to use the covered balcony or the rooftop terrace for smoking.
