Visitor’s tax/lodging tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/lodging tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

The Schifferhus is surrounded by imposing old warehouses, the former treehouse, and the customs house. The vacation rental is approximately 58 square meters in size and consists of a living area with an open kitchen, a bedroom, and a comfortable bathroom with a shower. From the living room, you can step out onto a loggia where you can enjoy the maritime atmosphere up close in the open air. The vacation rental is designed to accommodate 2–4 people. When occupied by 4 people, the couch in the living area can be quickly converted into a double bed. A separate storage room is available for bicycles, surfboards, and similar items. The vacation rental includes a parking space right next to the building. A flat-rate Wi-Fi connection is available free of charge. On the first floor, there is an Italian ice cream parlor—which also serves a light breakfast—and a few small shops. Our “Schifferkoje” vacation apartment is located on the first floor and offers a magnificent view of the harbor basin, the entrance to Wismar Bay, and the historic old town. In just a few minutes’ walk, you can enter the historic old town of Wismar through the Wassertor gate; the old town has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002.
Please understand that pets are not allowed in the apartment.
