Once known as a textile industrial city, Nordhorn has transformed itself into a “water city in the countryside” through its guiding principle: “Only those who have goals know the way.”
Thirty years after I graduated from high school in Nordhorn, a genuine local recreational destination for active families and couples has emerged.
The cozy downtown area with its many cafés and restaurants, the Nordhorn Zoo, the large outdoor pool, the Sparta Nordhorn Tennis Club, and a skate park are all within easy walking distance
Villa Verde Vacation Home:
With our Villa Verde right on the canal, we’ve created a two-story oasis of greenery for you to relax in. Two spacious velvet sofas, an open kitchen with modern amenities, floor-to-ceiling windows, box-spring beds, a large bathroom with a wellness sauna and whirlpool, and a wooden deck with comfortable garden chairs and lounge chairs will make your vacation even more enjoyable. Wi-Fi and Magenta TV are included as standard. In the evenings and on cold days, the fireplace in the living room spreads a cozy warmth throughout the house. We invite you to discover Nordhorn with its waterways and bike paths; our own insulated bike shed with a charging station for 4 e-bikes is, of course, at your disposal.
