The location was very good for travel into the centre of Milan; there was also a fantastic supermarket opposite the property. The flat had a lot of character with lovely high ceilings.

There is a tram line and stop just outside and these machines are very loud, especially at night. The apartment was unbearably hot (between 32 and 33 degrees), with two fans insufficient. There was an air cooling unit in the kitchen area which would stop working after about an hour; it needed to be unplugged, kept off for a while, and then plugged in again. Its location under the window in the kitchen meant it did nothing for the bedroom. The beds (and pillows) were very hard and the bed settee on the small side for two small-medium sized adults. The coffee machine would not work, even when I was advised that the capsules left as a welcome gift were incompatible and I should buy Nespresso ones, which I did. I asked if a bialetti mokka pot could be brought and was told they had nothing else. I contacted booking.com on 18/08/26 and had no reply.
