Beautiful location, great cabin with everything you could need and more. Friendly staff.

Cabin very hot, no way of cooling down but we were there in a heatwave.

Het was mooi schoon super ingericht, functioneel en comfortabel een plaats om zo weer terug naar te gaan, zelfs aan kleine kinderen is gedacht. Trouwens de uitzicht is fenomenaal. Zou willen dat ik z’n tweede huisje zelf had in Nederland.

Als je met koffer bij je huisje moet komen heb je even spierballen nodig, misschien een laadwagentje is handig.

Everything was perfect, great location. Comfortable beds. Nice quiet area. Got to see some horse racing was an added bonus. Chloe was a great help to us on arrival, she was awesome. Could not say enough on how much we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay in Killarney was a more rustic, camping-like experience rather than a luxury getaway, which is fine if that’s what you’re expecting. The natural beauty of the area and the receptionist’s friendly service were definite highlights.

However, there are a few practical areas where small improvements could make a big difference for guests: - Event awareness: We weren’t informed about Bikefest happening during our stay, which impacted noise levels and privacy. A heads-up about major local events would help guests set realistic expectations. - Noise levels: The cabin’s proximity to the parking lot and bike parking meant early morning noise (bikes starting at 6 AM). Adjusting the layout or adding soundproofing could improve comfort. - Safety: The shower floors were quite slippery—adding non-slip mats would be a simple fix to prevent accidents. - Essentials: Running out of toilet paper was a minor but avoidable inconvenience. Regular checks on stock levels would help. - Outdoor comfort: The obstructed mountain views and midges made it harder to enjoy the outdoors. Clearing obstructions and providing midge repellent or nets could enhance the experience. For those seeking a true camping-like stay with basic amenities, this fits the bill. With a few tweaks, it could be even more comfortable and enjoyable.
