It’s functional and very clean, nice and warm, has a parking space and is a 5 minute (max) walk into town!

St. Jude's House is a simple, spare, family home, and overall we enjoyed our stay. It met our needs for the most part.

The directions to the home are confusing for those who do not understand Ireland's airecode system, and this was especially true considering that other homes on the same street were numbered exactly the same. The night we arrived was horribly storming and the driveway was difficult to find in the dark. Luckily, the owner answered the phone even though it was late, and helped to direct us. There is a landmark across the street that is visible from one direction but not the other, and this could be made more clear in the directions as well. I looked over the reviews from others who stayed at this home, and I largely agree that there could be mention of what is not included for visitors, and that necessities such as soap, shampoo, etc. is required by the consumer. There is a trend for AirBNBs to include these things, and thus, it is noticeable when they are missing. The directions for shower use are also confusing, as is mentioned in other reviews. Overall, the communication pre-arrival and in-home needs some clarification. I think this would go a long way to assisting travelers.
