Perfect stay in Killarney

This was one of the best places I have stayed in all of my travels. Everything was perfect. The pod was equipped with everything I needed and was so cozy and comfortable. Having a space all to yourself that is quiet and private is such a luxury. William was wonderful and took the time to give me great recommendations on things to do. The instructions to enter were clear and helpful. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the town and very close to some great hiking. I loved the place so much I extended my stay. I definitely hope to return one day to explore more of this beautiful region.

Would 100% come back

Great location just outside of Killarney Town and a short stroll away from the INEC which was very handy if you have a concert/gig to attend as we did! Wonderful communal space that I would love to try out on our next trip when it is a little warmer outside! Just a few minutes walk from a local pub where we reallly enjoyed some local musicians and not too far away from some very good dining out options too. Would love to upgrade to a pod with a hot-tub on my next stay, which I hope wont be too long away.

A little on the cool side (however, that is to be expected given how cold it was outside and that it is a glamping pod!), but the electric heater warmed up the place well. Would be great if we were able to put a timer on the heating.

Exceptional stay

The glamping pod has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is on a walking distance to town and a quick drive to the places we needed to visit and see. The owner is very nice and easy to talk with. It’s a whole new experience!

Lovely spot for a weekend in Kerry!

We really enjoyed our stay here at the pod. It was very cozy & clean, had everything you could need for a weekend away, food storage/facities, towels, linens etc. Short 15 minutes walk from the middle or town too, great location to start exploring the Ring of Kerry. William was a friendly & helpful host!

Very comfortable and delightfully different accommodations

Loved the quiet location that was still convenient to everything. The pods are amazing! More spacious than one would imagine and very well equipped. Cute and very comfortable. The private outdoor patio was a nice bonus, as was the common area with a fully equipped kitchen, bbq, fridges, lounge area and fire pit. Excellent stay!

The owner and staff were lovely and very responsive! They made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The pod was very clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities; a heater, kettle, shower, toilet etc. Would 100% recommend.

It was a 20 min walk to get into town, but we had a car so there was no issue!

A luxurious escape with top-notch facilities

Great spot close to the town but still far enough away for some peace and quiet. Facilities were fantastic: pizza oven, bbq and minibar. We had the pod with private hot tub and sauna and it was such a joy. Great yoga school nearby at Nave yoga.

Perfect Tiny house!

It was a perfect tiny house with lots of privacy. It was great having dinner and relaxing in front of the pod. There is a great space with electric barbecue and pizza oven.

Great base for exploring the area

Lovely clean and cosy pods. Good location . We used them as a base to do the ring of Kerry and climb Carrauntoohil. Easy walk into Killarney for food and drinks. William the host was really helpful and kind.

Lovely summer stay, highly recommend

Hot tub and sauna were amazing. The pod was nice and cozy. You can't cook in the pod but can in the BBQ/fire pit area, which has plenty of options for cooking and a bar that works on an honour system. The location was quite nice as well - only 15 min walk from the town with loads of food options on the walk into town (Argentinian, pub grub, food trucks, brewery).

The lack of bins/bin bags provided. We stocked up on bin bags as we had read reviews and it was really needed, as you only have a tiny little bathroom bin. I'd advise stocking up on bug repellent during summer (as the pods are in between a lot of trees) and bin bags for this stay. Also, bring cash if you might need to purchase drinks on the premises. Other than that, very happy. Also, it would be great if we could use the hot tub past 10.30pm.

Friendly and welcoming host who gave us tips for the Ring of Kerry drive. Warm and cosy pod in its own secluded space on the property. Car parking. Short walk to pubs, supermarket, off-licence and Main Street shops and cafes, but far enough away to feel like you’re in the woods. On the road that leads to the Ring of Kerry drive and close to the first couple of attractions.

No sharp knives in the pod itself, but we found them in the communal bbq area.

A total hidden gem

Absolutely amazing!!! I can’t speak highly enough, there is everything you need in the glamping pod. There’s a little kitchenette (with a microwave, small fridge, toaster, kettle & coffee machine) ensuite bathroom, a double bed & a large couch, table & chairs, wardrobe. It was so quiet & private and with the black out curtains & blinds it is so easy to sleep in the glamping pod.

Everything was great for our short stay in Killarney. William the host was great, so kind and friendly and was really quick to respond to anything we needed. The pods are perfect, so peaceful and cosy and have everything you need. Location is excellent, we would absolutely stay again.

There wasn't really anywhere for us to dispose of rubbish/general waste aside from the small pedal bin in the bathroom of the pod. Not really an issue as William let us know to set our rubbish aside and he would dispose of it, but personally we felt bad doing this and would've preferred there to be a bin somewhere we could get rid of it ourselves. This is of course a very minor issue and we still 100% recommend staying at The Priory.

Amazing stay in a cozy pod!

Very cute and cozy pod! It was really special to stay in such a place! We really enjoyed it and I would really recommend it.

Some small things so not a big deal; The wifi did not always work, there was only a small bin at the toilet. A bit more towels (also for dry your hands for example) would have been nice.

Cozy glamping pods for an amazing stay in Killarney!

We went on a girls trip to Killarney, during the Wander Wild Festival. These Pods were an amazing find! Very good value for money, good location as they're just approx 15min walking from the centre of Killarney. Extremely clean and cozy for a long weekend. We booked the Pod with the hot tub and the sauna, which was such a treat after a full day of activities. The barbecue area was great, they even had a pizza oven and a nice lounge area. Will definitely come back!
