Central Brighton 1-Bed Apartment Sleeps 4

It was central to everything we needed

If your idea of a holiday is a rigorous lower-body workout just trying to get out of bed, this is the place for you! The main bed is practically a mattress on the floor, so to protect our dignity we were forced to abandon it for the equally spine-destroying sofa beds. Outside the window, we were treated to a lovely, panoramic view of the public toilets, accompanied by the local homeless population keeping us awake all night trying to fight literally everyone. Outside the property, the adventure continues in the hallways: the communal areas welcome you with an aromatic blend of damp and mould, while the stairway carpets and walls look like they’ve survived a medieval battle. As a bonus, the elevators are basically decorative art pieces, we were unable to use them for the duration of our stay since other residents were always leaving the doors open making them inoperable. A lot of this is outside the property owner's control, and to be fair, it was somewhat worth the money—it's just definitely not for us.
