Convenient location. Secure parking. Flexible check-in. Fridge was useful. Clean bedding.

Lack of decor. No pictures on the walls made it bland. No tea or coffee in room; just sugar and UHT milk. Bedside table lamp didn’t work.

Excellent value for the money! Room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel greeters are a band of gorgeous cats that live on premises, with their own heated walk in apartment built onto the back of the hotel. Right off the M6 and easy to find, with several convenient shops and takeaways right across the street (Hajee Ghani is brilliant) and a good sized parking lot in the back. Surprisingly quiet given how busy Slade Road is. All the staff were excellent; when a receptionist found out we had a load of work gear she changed us to a ground floor room from the upper floor we'd automatically been put on, and another one went rummaging through the maintenance storage and office to help me fix a bit of my work kit.

No actual fault to the hotel, just a feature of a lot of older buildings: not much insulation in the walls and floors. So people being noisy late at night can be a bit annoying. But the receptionist went and spoke to them right off when I asked about it, so it was a minor thing.

Came Birmingham to work. Worth the price for full facility room(surpirsed to see a fridge) and free parking. the walls of my room was thin and I can hear ppl talking. I personally am struggling to fall asleep and only fell asleep till ~2am.
