Caravan by the sea

It was a lovely caravan in a lovely spot, just a short walk to shop and arcades ect

The only downfall was the cleanliness. At first glance it was lovely but my 5 year old daughter found a few vape pens under the beds and some other clothing items

Great location on the park for my children as it was easy to locate at the same time as not been to far away from the the complex. Was also quiet

Everything was good in general. The caravans were so close to the holly Island and to the Eyemouth Beach which was 20 minutes driving from the caravan. You have to visit this place “Eyemouth Beach “ the cliffs there were magical and magnificent. We had a chance to feed the seals 🦭 some fish pieces that you can buy from a fish stand and they will show you how to feed the seals 🦭. I will attach some pictures of the Eyemouth Beach.

I was disappointed with several aspects of our stay. Firstly, I was informed before arriving that I needed to bring my own bed sheets, which I did. However, when we arrived, I discovered that the pillows and duvets also had no covers. I checked the cupboard and found that the spare bedding was dirty, with one duvet cover even having what appeared to be blood stains on it. As a result, I had to purchase my own pillowcases and duvet covers. I would recommend making it clear in the listing exactly what bedding guests need to bring. If no bedding is provided, there should not be dirty or used bedding left in the cupboards. Secondly, the advertisement states that there is a private swimming pool, which led me to believe it was included with the booking. Unfortunately, I was later told that access cost an additional £120 (£40 per adult and £20 per child). My children were very excited to use the pool, so this was a real disappointment. Instead, we visited the local swimming pool, where admission for our family of two adults and two children cost just £20. I believe the listing should clearly state that the on-site swimming pool is not included in the accommodation price and that additional charges apply. Finally, there was no Wi-Fi in the caravan, which made it difficult to keep the children entertained during our stay. This is another detail that should be made clear in the property description. Overall, I feel the listing needs to be more transparent about what is and isn’t included. Clearer information regarding bedding, swimming pool access, and Wi-Fi would help guests know what to expect and avoid unnecessary disappointment.
