Really great, spacious house right in the centre of town
Only 1 thing! The front door knob is very close to the door frame and 2 of us got our fingers jammed in the door frame - which was extremely painful and we both have cuts and bruises.

Very nicely furnished, comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen very well equipped. Good instructions for how to operate everything: excellent guide to the whole place. All worked well for a family gathering of 11 people of all ages. Free parking very close by although not at the house itself.
Didn't use the single private parking area as the entrance to the space was pretty narrow and at an angle, and husband was afraid of scratching the car: but plenty of free parking elsewhere close by. (We had 3 cars between us anyway for 11 people!)
A second twin room might have suited our particular group better than 4 doubles and one twin, but we managed.

Beautiful house in a wonderful little gem of a town. Lots to see and do ,lovely unusual shops and plenty of eating places with good food and drink . The curfew is a must,hidden gem,. Lovely craft,book and clothes shops. Friendly people and magnificent scenery.so much history in one place. We've been to Berwick upon Tweed lots of times, my husband's family came from the area and we are never disappointed.
There was nothing to dislike.
