Very clean central position friendly owner.
It is in a block of flats and there is steps up to the apartment but if your ok with that its not a problem

Great location.
Two great bedrooms; very clean throughout, showers spot on..
Absolutely perfect for a couple of mates or friends: a very comfortable base in underated Berwick or North Northumberland but perhaps would not be the best spot or start for or to a romantic weekend away in Northumberland!!
Totally beyond Bruce and Rhona's control: the very basic reception and staircase areas with no lifts to the apartments resemble a nineteen eighties East European block or nineteen seventies student halls of residence and it is unclear if the apartments are a combination of holiday lets or permanent residencies.
Perhaps Bruce and Rhona should make people aware of the set up in their- albeit very warm- welcome?

Well equipped, spacious apartment with a full kitchen. Great location to explore historic towns in Northumberland (within 30 minute-drive to Holy Island and Bamburgh). Friendly host. Berwick-upon-Tweed was such a charming little town!
Parking in the town was confusing. You need a parking disc to park, and it was not easy to get one after store hours (thankfully the host provided one for us during our stay). No lift to get to the top floor apartment - could be challenging for elderly people or people with disabilities.
