נוף מדהים! חדרים מרווחים ועם כילות מפני יתושים.בעל המקום מקסים ,חביב מאוד , צייד אותנו בטיפים טובים על מקומות לטייל בהם.קרוב למרכז העניינים (מרחק נסיעה של 5 דקות בטוקטוק במחיר זול ממש). ארוחת בוקר טובה מאוד עם קפה טעים.

באחד הלילות, לא היו מים חמים להתקלח.כדאי לומר לאנשי המקום לפני, כדי שלא יפספסו. אין רשתות כך שחרקים יכולים להכנס בקלות.השארנו סגור וביקשנו מאוורר שסופק לנו מיד.

Although down a tricky road, the location is amazing. It's like being in a treehouse in the jungle. The owner, Sanjeev is fantastic and goes out of his way to make sure your stay is memorable. If you get the opportunity to do the waterfall road trip that Sanjeev offers, do it! You'll be taken where no tourists go, through an authentic part of the area, to incredible waterfall lagoons to swim in. 1000 x better than the tourist lined waterfalls everywhere else. So grateful for that experience!

Alcohol available for purchase would be good, but I think they are working on that.

This is a high-end homestay in a prime location with a majestic view of the surrounding hills and a large terrace, frequently visited by (well-mannered) macaques. The accommodation is modern and stylish. There is a luxuriously comfortable King size bed with high-quality bedding, including a summer duvet (a rare find in Asia). There is also an additional double bed which we used to lay our things on as there was no storage for our clothes etc (from our experience a lack of wardrobes/drawers etc. is typical in Asian homestays) A tiny section of the bedroom was a kitchen area we appreciated the fridge freezer that kept our drinks ice cold. The bathroom was clean and the shower powerful. AC worked fabulously. I have read negative reviews about the ‘narrow’ drive that leads to Bethal Ella, it is not that narrow, our taxi managed it fine and for tuk-tuks it is absolutely no problem, you wouldn’t get a large vehicle through there but the owner arranges (and pays for) a tuktuk for guests when they arrive and when they depart. We enjoyed the ten-minute walk from Bethal Ella to the high street every day and the 72 steps leading up to the apartment were no issue, we are grateful we lost a few calories and had a good work out every day. There are two staff who work extremely hard taking the luggage up the steps to the apartment, cooking and cleaning, all with a smile. The owner would greet us for breakfast every morning and have his chef serve us up a Sri Lankan feast including the best local buffalo curd and honey which was absolutely delicious. Having some drinking glasses and cups in the room would have made the stay more comfortable but when we asked the owner for these they were brought up to us in no time. He really could not have been any more accommodating.

Minor things: Storage for clothes, one of the bedside lamps did not work, glasses and cups in the room on arrival would have been nice.
